A rate that has changed is the most useful thing you can send us.

Worth writing about

• A rate that has changed. If an official tariff has moved and a calculator still uses the old figure, tell us which page and, if you have it, where the new rate is published. These get fixed first.
• A calculation that looks wrong. Send the page and the numbers you entered so the result can be reproduced.
• A page that is broken or unclear — a tool that will not run, a link going nowhere, something that misbehaves on your phone.
• A calculator you would use. Suggestions genuinely shape what gets built next.

What we cannot help with

Dubai Calculators is an independent site with no connection to any UAE authority. We cannot check the status of a visa, dispute a traffic fine, query a DEWA bill, intervene in a labour matter, or pass a message to a government department. For any of those, contact the authority directly — the RTA, your utility provider, MoHRE or the ICP, depending on the matter.

We also cannot give legal, tax, immigration or financial advice. These calculators produce estimates; a decision that matters deserves a qualified professional.

Where to go instead, by subject

Most messages we receive are for someone else. If your question is about an actual bill, fine, application or entitlement — not about a figure on this site — these are the bodies that can act on it:

• Metro, bus, taxi and Nol cards, and traffic fines in Dubai: the Roads and Transport Authority, on 800 9090 or through the RTA app.
• Salik: Salik customer care on 800 72545, which is also where a disputed crossing or an unregistered tag is resolved.
• Darb, in Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Mobility on 800 850.
• Electricity and water: DEWA on 991 for emergencies and 04 601 9999 otherwise; SEWA on 600 566665 in Sharjah; ADDC on 800 2332 in Abu Dhabi. Only they can read your meter, explain a slab crossing or correct a billing error.
• Wages, contracts, gratuity and labour complaints: the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation on 600 590000.
• Visas, entry permits and Emirates ID: the GDRFA in Dubai on 800 5111, or the ICP federally on 600 522222.
• VAT and corporate tax: the Federal Tax Authority on 800 82923.

We have no channel into any of them, and a message sent here will not reach them.

What helps us fix something quickly

A correction is easiest to act on when it says which page, what figure the calculator produced, and what you entered to get it. If a published rate has moved, a link to the page on the authority’s own site is the single most useful thing you can include — it lets the rate be verified and changed the same day rather than queued for checking.

We do not need your name, your account number, your Emirates ID or anything else identifying to fix a calculation, so please do not send it.
