What the figures on this site are, and what they are not.

Every calculator here produces an estimate for personal planning. The arithmetic is applied exactly as described on each page, but an estimate is only as good as the rate it is built on and the figures you enter. The meter in the taxi, the bill from DEWA, the invoice from a government service or the settlement from your employer is the number that actually counts.
Rates are taken from the body that publishes them — the RTA, Salik, Abu Dhabi Mobility, DEWA, SEWA, ADDC and UAE federal law — and pages that depend on a published rate name the source and the date it was last checked.
Those rates change, often with little notice and sometimes mid-month. Salik moved to variable pricing in January 2025; Abu Dhabi’s Darb windows are not what they were at launch; utility fuel surcharges are revised periodically. We update pages when we learn of a change, but there will always be a gap between a change taking effect and this site reflecting it. Before you pay a fee, sign a contract, accept a settlement or make a decision that costs money, check the official source.
Dubai Calculators is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the RTA, Salik, Abu Dhabi Mobility, DEWA, SEWA, ADDC or TAQA, MoHRE, GDRFA, the ICP, the Federal Tax Authority, any bank, or any other UAE government body or company. Where an authority is named on this site it is to identify whose published rate a calculation follows, nothing more.
We cannot process, submit, check or influence any application, bill, fine or visa. If you need something done, contact the relevant authority directly.
Nothing here is legal, tax, immigration, employment or financial advice, and using a calculator does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Employment entitlements in particular depend on contract terms, length of service, reason for leaving and the specific law in force — a calculator cannot see any of that. For a decision that matters, take advice from someone qualified to give it.
